Us Pv Data for the First Half of 2024: 12gw of New Installed Capacity
According to the latest report data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), photovoltaic power generation accounted for 59% of all new power generation during this period. In the first half of 2024, all large-scale ground technologies added a total of 20.2GW, an increase of 3.6GW over the same period last year. EIA expects new installed capacity in the second half of 2024 to be 42.6GW, of which 25GW will come from large-scale ground photovoltaics.
